Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee daily general ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline budget forecasting and expense management.
- Lead external audit preparations and act as the primary point of contact for auditors.
- Analyze financial data to identify variances and provide actionable recommendations for cost efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP software (NetSuite or SAP experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
