Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Analyze financial variances and provide actionable insights to management.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and manage depreciation logs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Active CPA license or CPA candidate status highly preferred.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP software (NetSuite or SAP experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory accounting standards.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
