Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance, scalable web services and microservices using modern technologies (e.g., Python, Go, or Java).
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to define feature requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous technical code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Optimize existing software applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture design to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Contribute to technical documentation and assist in troubleshooting complex production issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on backend or full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language and deep understanding of software design patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of database systems (SQL like PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL like MongoDB) and RESTful API design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a passion for continuous learning.
