Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and performant distributed systems.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in code reviews and documentation.
- Optimize application performance and reliability through meticulous profiling and system tuning.
- Champion CI/CD practices and contribute to our automated testing infrastructure.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system stability and 99.9% uptime.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in our development stack.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with modern languages (e.g., Go, Java, or Node.js).
- Strong proficiency with cloud infrastructure providers, specifically AWS or GCP.
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Extensive experience in designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Deep knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL database design patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and highly testable code.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
