Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, highly available microservices for our core platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Contribute to architecture design reviews and advocate for best-in-class coding standards.
- Develop robust APIs to support seamless integration across multiple product lines.
- Lead technical initiatives to improve deployment automation and infrastructure as code.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate effective code review sessions.
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain platform uptime and system health.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Advanced proficiency in Go, Java, or Python in a production environment.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong knowledge of database design, caching strategies, and message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
