Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services and APIs using Python, Go, or Java.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, DevOps) to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality, security standards, and adherence to best practices.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring low latency and high availability in high-traffic environments.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture planning, implementation, and deployment.
- Drive technical innovation by researching and implementing new technologies and frameworks.
- Identify and resolve technical debt to ensure long-term system maintainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, Java, Go, or C++).
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software in Agile/Scrum environments.
