Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes in AWS/GCP environments
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using GitLab CI and Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical design reviews
- Conduct advanced performance tuning and security hardening for distributed systems
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications with product teams
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices and observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or similar compiled languages
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud-native architecture patterns
- Strong background in building RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Proven track record of mentoring technical teams and driving engineering excellence
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
