Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize system performance, reducing latency by 40%+ through database indexing and caching strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform to automate deployment processes
- Conduct technical deep-dives to resolve critical production incidents within SLA requirements
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Stay current with emerging technologies through monthly innovation sprints
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-level software development with Go/Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and database optimization
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system architecture contributions
