Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable cloud-native applications using microservices and event-driven patterns
- Lead technical design sessions and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize system performance and implement robust CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
- Implement security protocols and conduct rigorous code reviews
- Drive innovation through experimentation with AI/ML integration patterns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with proven distributed systems experience
- Strong AWS/Azure/GCP certification and infrastructure-as-code implementation
- Proficiency in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Experience with event streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and message queues
- Deep understanding of database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Track record of shipping production systems at scale
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
