Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and architectural discussions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance and resolve complex production issues
- Contribute to open-source projects and present technical insights at company-wide forums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years building production-grade distributed systems
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with strong CS fundamentals
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Strong problem-solving skills with data structure and algorithm knowledge
- Track record of shipping mission-critical applications at scale
