Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead cloud infrastructure optimization on AWS/GCP, reducing operational costs by 30%
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Terraform for automated deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct code reviews ensuring adherence to security and performance standards
- Contribute to open-source projects and publish technical insights
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or similar compiled languages
- Expertise in distributed systems, message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and REST APIs
- Proven experience with cloud-native architecture (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in data modeling and SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Experience leading technical projects from conception to production deployment
- Contributions to open-source repositories or published technical articles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
