Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Python in AWS cloud environments
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and infrastructure-as-code initiatives with Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Champion observability practices via Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing
- Drive technical debt reduction while maintaining 99.95% system uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and patent-pending innovations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade distributed systems
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Strong background in event-driven design and message queuing (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Proven ability to optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/MongoDB)
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks and data-driven decision making
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
