Responsibilities
- Architect and implement distributed systems handling 10M+ daily transactions
- Mentor 3-5 engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures
- Lead technical sprint planning and own feature delivery from conception to production
- Champion DevOps practices by improving CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent NexusTech at tech conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years of production experience with Go/Python and distributed systems
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) with Terraform/CloudFormation
- Strong background in microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers and leading technical initiatives
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
