Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using cloud-native architectures
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and pair programming sessions
- Lead migration of legacy systems to containerized Kubernetes environments
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to ensure zero-downtime deployments
- Optimize database queries and API latency for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Contribute to open-source projects that advance our industry standards
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience building production-grade distributed systems
- Expert proficiency in Go and Python with async programming patterns
- Deep understanding of AWS/GCP services including ECS, EKS, and Lambda
- Proven track record optimizing for scale and performance at 10M+ RPS
- Strong knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience leading agile development with Jira and Confluence
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
