Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and develop comprehensive intervention plans
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed counseling
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (healthcare, legal, education)
- Advocate for clients within community systems and government agencies
- Conduct home visits and case management for at-risk families
- Develop and facilitate community workshops on mental health and resilience
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years direct experience in child/family services
- Current registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers
- Crisis intervention and trauma-informed care certification
- Knowledge of local social service systems and resources
- Strong cultural competency and anti-oppressive practice skills
- Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle
