Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security frameworks including zero-trust architecture and cloud security solutions
- Lead red team engagements and penetration testing to identify system vulnerabilities
- Develop security automation tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and forensic analysis of advanced persistent threats
- Mentor junior security engineers and establish security best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST)
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on security engineering
- CISSP, OSCP, or CISM certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments (Kubernetes)
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and security automation tools
- Strong background in network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Demonstrated ability to lead security incident response (DFIR)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders
