Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security architectures including zero-trust frameworks and cloud-native protections
- Lead incident response operations, coordinating cross-functional teams during security breaches
- Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on complex systems
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python, Ansible, and SIEM tools
- Establish security metrics and KPIs to continuously improve organizational posture
- Research emerging threats and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct security awareness training across departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise security with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or OSCP (multiple preferred)
- Expert-level proficiency in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Deep knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK tactics
- Experience with DevSecOps integration and security automation tools
- Strong background in regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize under pressure
