Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security frameworks for cloud/on-premise infrastructures
- Lead incident response protocols and threat hunting operations
- Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop security automation tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous research and threat intelligence
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security engineering roles
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong coding skills in Python and familiarity with Go/Rust
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Proven track record in reducing security vulnerabilities by 40%+
