Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations for critical assets
- Develop automation frameworks for security monitoring and vulnerability management
- Conduct penetration testing and security assessments for enterprise systems
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Present security posture to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ in senior engineering roles
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and infrastructure hardening
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent advanced security certification
- Proficiency in security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, etc.)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) for security automation
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Track record of reducing security incidents by 40%+
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional leadership
