Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures to protect cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response and threat hunting initiatives using advanced SIEM and EDR tools
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across critical systems
- Develop and maintain security automation frameworks using Python, Terraform, and Ansible
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness across the organization
- Stay ahead of emerging threats by researching and evaluating new security technologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with proven expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Deep knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, IDS/IPS) and application security
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Cortex)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Track record of reducing security risk metrics (MTTD, MTTR) by 30%+
