Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures including zero-trust frameworks, cloud security, and identity management systems
- Lead incident response operations including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and post-breach remediation
- Conduct advanced penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security automation frameworks using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines
- Present security briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness programs
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture or engineering leadership
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required with additional GIAC certifications preferred
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS/Azure security services, container security, and network security protocols
- Proven experience designing and implementing SIEM/SOAR solutions (Splunk, QRadar)
- Advanced skills in threat intelligence analysis and threat modeling
- Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR)
- Strong background in secure coding practices and application security
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
