Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security controls for cloud/on-premise infrastructure
- Lead 24/7 security incident response and threat hunting operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation tools using Python/Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Present security metrics to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity roles with 2+ years in leadership
- Certifications: CISSP, OSCP, or AWS Security Specialty required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex security projects
