Responsibilities
- Design and deploy robust security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust solutions
- Lead incident response for security breaches, conducting forensic analysis and root cause investigations
- Develop security automation tools and scripts using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security practices in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR standards
- Mentor security analysts and drive continuous improvement of security operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on infrastructure security
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with orchestration tools
- Experience with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to operate under pressure during incidents
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
