Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security frameworks including zero-trust architecture and cloud security protocols
- Lead incident response for complex cyber threats using SIEM platforms and threat intelligence
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and Ansible for operational efficiency
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices across development lifecycle
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Present security posture reports to C-level executives and board members
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture or engineering
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent (AWS/Azure security certs preferred)
- Expertise in network security, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and application security
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and familiarity with security automation tools
- Experience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST CSF)
- Proven track record of leading security incident response and threat hunting
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
