You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to safeguard critical infrastructure while mentoring junior engineers and driving security best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
- Lead incident response operations, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation tools using Python and Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise security engineering
- Certifications: CISSP, OSCP, or CISM required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR tools
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
