Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security architectures across AWS/GCP/Azure environments
- Lead incident response for security breaches and conduct post-mortem analysis
- Develop automated security monitoring using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel)
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for new systems
- Establish security best practices for CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness across the organization
- Stay current with evolving threats and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in cloud security roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or OSCP (required)
- Expertise in cloud security tools: GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, CSPM
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Deep understanding of network protocols, encryption, and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with threat hunting and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for executive reporting
