Responsibilities
- Design and deploy enterprise-grade security architectures including SIEM, EDR, and zero-trust frameworks
- Lead incident response operations, conducting forensic analysis and root cause investigations
- Develop and maintain security automation pipelines using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Create security documentation and conduct training for engineering teams
- Monitor emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security engineering/architecture
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required; CCSP or CISSP-ISSMP preferred
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and container security (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for security automation
- Proven experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
