Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security frameworks including zero-trust architecture, SIEM integration, and endpoint protection platforms
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate cross-functional remediation efforts
- Conduct advanced penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on cloud/on-prem systems
- Develop security automation solutions using Python and orchestration tools
- Maintain compliance with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and industry-specific regulations
- Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture or engineering leadership
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS/Azure security services and cloud-native security controls
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP with active SANS training preferred
- Proven experience building SOC operations and threat hunting programs
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) for security automation
- Deep understanding of network protocols, cryptography, and attack vectors
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools
