Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security frameworks including zero-trust architectures and cloud-native security solutions
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches, minimizing impact and recovery time
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for complex enterprise environments
- Develop automation scripts using Python/Go to enhance security monitoring capabilities
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Present security briefings to C-level executives and technical stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise security engineering with 3+ in leadership roles
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent with active CE credits
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Deep knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with threat hunting frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK methodology
- Strong background in network security, cryptography, and secure coding practices
