Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security architectures across cloud, network, and data environments
- Lead incident response procedures for security breaches and conduct forensic investigations
- Develop security automation tools and playbooks to enhance operational efficiency
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify system weaknesses
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security principles into DevOps pipelines
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous research and threat intelligence analysis
- Mentor junior security engineers and establish best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in senior leadership roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required; CCSP or GCIH preferred
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proven track record designing SIEM solutions and security automation frameworks
- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST)
- Strong programming skills (Python/Go/Bash) for security tool development
- Experience with zero-trust architecture and identity management systems
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate risk to technical and non-technical stakeholders
