Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments
- Lead incident response operations, including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and technologies through research and experimentation
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security best practices documentation
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expert knowledge in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with zero-trust architecture implementation
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex security projects from conception to deployment
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders
