Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security architectures including cloud-native and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response investigations for complex cyber threats (ransomware, APTs)
- Develop automation scripts for vulnerability management and compliance reporting
- Mentor junior engineers through quarterly security workshops and code reviews
- Conduct penetration testing on enterprise systems and cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security engineering/architecture
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with zero-trust frameworks and NIST 800-53 compliance
- Background in financial services or healthcare security preferred
