Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security architectures for cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Lead incident response processes, including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in the SDLC (DevSecOps)
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness across the organization
- Stay current with emerging threats and contribute to security R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture/automation roles
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel, GCP Security Command Center)
- Advanced knowledge of network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Zero Trust)
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or OSCP (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with SIEM implementation and threat intelligence integration
- Strong background in secure software development lifecycle practices
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
