Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures across cloud and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis for security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python and industry tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security training programs
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in SIEM implementation (Splunk, QRadar) and threat hunting
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with security automation
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and IaC (Terraform)
- Proven track record of reducing security vulnerabilities in large-scale environments
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to stakeholders
