Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
- Lead incident response investigations for complex cyber threats and orchestrate mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to identify gaps.
- Develop and automate security protocols using Python, Bash, or Ansible to reduce manual overhead.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the software lifecycle.
- Monitor global threat intelligence feeds to anticipate emerging attack vectors.
- Train and mentor junior security analysts, fostering a culture of security awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or SANS GCIH is highly desirable.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Security Engineering role.
- Deep knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, SSL/TLS).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or Elastic Stack) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
