As a Senior Security Engineer, you will take ownership of our security posture, ensuring compliance with GDPR and ISO 27001 standards while leading the charge in threat detection and response.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security controls and firewalls to protect enterprise assets.
- Lead penetration testing initiatives and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
- Oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents 24/7.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Investigate and mitigate complex cyber threats, including advanced persistent threats (APTs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in information security or network defense.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, encryption standards (PKI), and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for security automation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
