Responsibilities
- Lead complex risk assessments for commercial insurance portfolios using advanced modeling techniques
- Develop predictive analytics frameworks to forecast claim trends and loss ratios
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to refine policy terms and coverage structures
- Present risk insights to executive stakeholders through compelling visualizations
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with evolving insurance standards
- Mentor junior analysts while driving continuous improvement of risk methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in property/casualty risk analysis or insurance underwriting
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SAS) and SQL
- Deep understanding of insurance regulations (NAIC, ISO) and risk management frameworks
- Proven track record of developing risk models with measurable business impact
- CAS or ARM designation preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or related quantitative field
