Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex reservoir simulation models using software such as Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG.
- Analyze production data and geological models to forecast reservoir performance and estimate recoverable reserves.
- Design and optimize enhanced oil recovery (EOR) schemes to improve field economics and recovery factors.
- Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and facility personnel to integrate reservoir data into overall field development plans.
- Conduct pressure transient analysis and well testing to understand reservoir behavior and well productivity.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for management and stakeholders to support investment decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in reservoir engineering, preferably within unconventional or conventional oil & gas operations.
- Proficient in reservoir simulation software (Petrel, Eclipse, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data.
- Proven track record of managing projects from conceptual design to execution.
- P.E. (Professional Engineer) license is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
