Responsibilities
- Lead and execute complex research projects in drug discovery and development
- Design innovative experimental protocols and analyze high-volume scientific data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (biology, chemistry, clinical) to advance pipeline candidates
- Stay current with emerging pharmaceutical technologies and regulatory frameworks
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to strategic research planning
- Present findings at scientific conferences and publish peer-reviewed papers
- Ensure strict compliance with GMP/GLP standards and safety protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in molecular biology techniques and assay development
- Strong track record in preclinical drug discovery and translational research
- Experience with regulatory submissions (IND/CTA) and compliance documentation
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary research teams
- Publication record in high-impact pharmaceutical or life sciences journals
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and bioinformatics tools
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
