Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex experiments in molecular biology, CRISPR editing, and high-throughput screening
- Lead cross-functional teams to advance preclinical drug discovery programs from concept to IND
- Analyze multi-omics data (genomics, proteomics) using advanced computational tools
- Develop novel assay platforms for target validation and mechanism of action studies
- Present findings at international conferences and publish in top-tier journals
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to lab strategic planning
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in CRISPR-Cas9, next-generation sequencing, and primary cell culture
- Proven track record of leading successful preclinical research projects
- Strong publication record in high-impact journals (e.g., Nature, Science, Cell)
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools (Python/R, machine learning applications)
- Experience with GLP-compliant lab environments and regulatory documentation
