Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex experimental protocols in molecular biology and synthetic chemistry
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate research hypotheses into viable therapeutic candidates
- Develop novel analytical methodologies using advanced instrumentation (HPLC, NMR, Mass Spec)
- Author comprehensive research documentation and patent applications
- Mentor junior scientists and drive continuous process improvements
- Present findings at international conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of leading successful R&D projects from concept to clinical candidate
- Expertise in CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing or monoclonal antibody development
- Strong statistical analysis skills with proficiency in R/Python
- Demonstrated success in securing NIH or equivalent research funding
- Excellent written communication with 5+ peer-reviewed publications
- Experience with GMP/GLP compliance and regulatory pathways
