Responsibilities
- Lead Research Initiatives: Spearhead the design and execution of experiments to develop novel algorithms in Deep Learning and Computer Vision.
- Publication & Knowledge Sharing: Author high-impact research papers and present findings at top-tier international conferences and peer-reviewed journals.
- Prototype Development: Translate theoretical models into scalable prototypes and collaborate with the engineering team for production deployment.
- Model Optimization: Optimize existing models for accuracy, speed, and resource efficiency to meet real-world application demands.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior researchers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic or industrial research settings.
- Publications: A proven track record of publishing research in reputable venues (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to tackle complex, open-ended problems.
- Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional agile teams.
