Responsibilities
- Lead interdisciplinary R&D projects focused on advanced material synthesis and characterization
- Design and execute complex experiments using high-throughput screening platforms
- Develop novel methodologies for sustainable material production and testing
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate research findings
- Author patents, white papers, and peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of industry R&D experience with proven publication record
- Expertise in polymer chemistry, nanomaterials, or green chemistry
- Proficiency with analytical instruments (SEM, TEM, FTIR, HPLC)
- Strong background in DOE (Design of Experiments) and statistical analysis
- Experience scaling lab processes to pilot/commercial production
