Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze complex experimental protocols in molecular biology and biochemistry
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects from conception through pre-clinical validation

- Secure and manage research grants with focus on NIH and NSF applications
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to intellectual property strategy
- Present findings at international conferences and peer-reviewed publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing or synthetic biology systems
- Expertise in next-generation sequencing and computational biology tools
- Strong publication record in high-impact journals (Nature, Cell, Science)
- Demonstrated success in securing competitive research funding
- Experience with GLP/GMP laboratory practices and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex experimental systems
