Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects from ideation to prototype
- Design and execute experimental validation protocols
- Develop patentable innovations in assigned technical domain
- Mentor junior researchers and interns
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
- Secure external research funding through grant applications
- Collaborate with product teams for commercialization pathways
Qualifications
- PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of applied R&D experience
- Proven track record of published research (10+ peer-reviewed papers)
- Expertise in machine learning or material science
- Strong statistical analysis and experimental design skills
- Experience with lab automation and high-performance computing
- Validated ability to secure research grants
