- Secure intellectual property through patents and technical documentation
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Stay current with emerging technologies through industry conferences and literature reviews
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proven expertise in electrochemistry and battery technology
- Strong background in statistical analysis and experimental design
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks) and simulation tools (ANSYS)
- Demonstrated success in translating research to commercial products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to secure research funding through grant applications
