Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial and residential property markets using proprietary valuation models and third-party data sources
- Build sophisticated financial models for acquisition, development, and disposition opportunities
- Conduct due diligence on properties including physical inspections, title reviews, and zoning analysis
- Produce comprehensive investment memoranda highlighting risk-adjusted returns and market positioning
- Monitor emerging market trends and competitor activity across NYC boroughs
- Present investment recommendations to executive committee with clear data-driven rationale
- Manage relationships with brokers, appraisers, and legal counsel to streamline transaction processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial real estate investment analysis or brokerage experience
- Advanced proficiency in Argus, Excel, and financial modeling software
- Proven track record of closing $10M+ property transactions
- CFA designation or CCIM certification strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of NYC property markets, zoning laws, and development regulations
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to articulate complex financial concepts
- Strong network of industry contacts including brokers, developers, and institutional investors
