Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends, property valuations, and ROI projections for commercial/residential developments
- Develop comprehensive investment models and financial feasibility studies
- Lead due diligence processes including zoning reviews, environmental assessments, and title verification
- Present investment recommendations to executive stakeholders using data visualization tools
- Manage relationships with brokers, developers, and institutional investors
- Monitor portfolio performance and optimize asset allocation strategies
- Stay current on regulatory changes impacting real estate investments
Qualifications
- 5+ years in real estate investment analysis or commercial banking
- CFA/FRM designation or equivalent financial modeling certification
- Expertise in Argus, REIT valuation, and market analytics platforms
- Proven track record in multi-million dollar transaction execution
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VBA) and Power BI
- Deep understanding of Toronto's real estate ecosystem and zoning laws
- Strong negotiation skills with contract drafting experience
- Master's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or Business Administration
