Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis and financial modeling for $50M+ real estate portfolios
- Perform rigorous due diligence on commercial properties including zoning, environmental, and feasibility studies
- Develop investment memos and capitalization models for institutional clients and private equity funds
- Lead negotiations with property owners, brokers, and legal teams to structure optimal acquisition terms
- Monitor portfolio performance through KPI analysis and market trend forecasting
- Mentor junior analysts while maintaining ownership of complex transaction deliverables
Qualifications
- 5+ years in real estate investment banking, private equity, or development finance
- Expertise in Argus, Prologis, and REIT valuation methodologies
- Proven track record in closed commercial real estate transactions exceeding $30M
- Advanced Excel modeling with VBA proficiency and Bloomberg terminal certification
- Master's degree in Real Estate Finance, MBA, or CFA designation preferred
- Deep knowledge of NYC zoning laws and luxury market dynamics
- Exceptional presentation skills with 100+ investor pitch experience
