Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and testing of quantum circuits and algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists.
- Optimize existing quantum systems for scalability and error correction.
- Author and publish technical white papers and patents in top-tier journals.
- Mentor junior researchers and provide technical guidance on complex problems.
- Conduct rigorous experimental validation and data analysis.
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D within the quantum computing or high-performance computing sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Qiskit/Cirq.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and statistical mechanics.
- Proven track record of academic or industrial innovation.
- Fluency in English; German is a plus.
